2011.4.8 - Coltsfoot and spring trout
Just got IZULA blade. Took it for a walk in along the west duffins creek. The spring run off is still chilly but it's ok to stand in for awhile. The knife works well for wood crafts and survival tasks. Enlisted in my lighter backpacking gear set. The creek has plenty of trout but I'm not sure they are brown trout or rainbows. All big fishes look like 15lbs plus. The coltsfoot flowers are flourishing on the eroded river banks. Just standing there for a few minutes, watching the trouts playing with current, the yellow flowers dotting the fertile black soil, the squirrel busy foraging behind me, the crows calling... There is nothing more real than this.

Hi Linzi, i read your blog about WHITEVALE Park and trout. Was wondering whether you have been there in the last week and whether the trout are still around at the whitevale road bridge. Please email me at aiyazahmed33@gmail.com.
Thanks for any feedback.
