Friday night we camped at Mew Lake campground, close to the heated comfort station.
On Vitaly's trip we always sleep innnnnnnnnng.
Couldn't stay long in my hammock so I took a walk around the park. It was a beautiful morning.
Finally, we had Jessie's special tea. Very nice as always.
And Oleg's oats for breakfast. Nice!
Trail head is only a few minutes away. The trail was already broken, walking on the crusty snow is not hard but not feel as good as fresh snow.
Snowshoe hare's track is everywhere. We also saw a lot squirrel tracks and some possibly fox, wolf, and birds.
Taking a break at Starling Lake.
Flapping is another good technique to keep a fire going other than poking.
Judith made great pancakes but the process is painfully slow.
Group shot by the Provoking Lake.
Great weather for Sunday.
The beautiful creek.
A note left on the trail by a hiker.
Great weekend in the outdoors! Thanks Vitaly for bring on this trip and thanks everyone for the good company.
